REFRA PRAGUE 2024
The 22nd conference on modern refractory materials and key achievements in high‑temperature technologies, which will take place in Prague from 22nd to 24th May 2024.
Venue: Czech Association of Technical Societies, Novotného lávka 5, Prague
The conference will deal with the following topics:
- Key raw materials: mining, use in ceramics, additives, recycling, strategic deposits
- Energy aspects of high-temperature processing of products: energy efficiency, environmental aspects, green processing, circular economy
- Refractory and thermal insulating materials processing – additive manufacturing – machine learning: metallurgy, glass production, chemical technology, building materials production, waste treatment and biomass applications
- Corrosion of refractory materials: influence of technology, fuels, aggressive environments
- Structure of refractory materials and their modification: nanomaterial application, refractories for future challenges, simulation techniques
- New qualities and grades of refractory materials: innovative trends and challenging quests for properties, zero-carbon grades
Please submit your abstracts by January 31, 2024, via email to the secretary of The Czech Ceramic Society (lauermannovaannamarie@gmail.com). The conference fee covers the expenses associated with the organization of the conference, reception, refreshments, and social events. The accommodation is not included.
Terms And Conditions
All cancellations and modifications of registration must be made in writing by e-mail to the secretariat of The Czech Ceramic Society.
Postponement or cancellation of the conference:
If the event is cancelled for any reason the participant will receive a 100% refund of their payment. If the event is postponed for any reason, and the participant is unable or unwilling to attend on a rescheduled date, the participant will receive a 100% refund of their payment.
Transfer of registration:
All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons from the same organization if the registered participant is unable to attend the event. Transfers must be made by the registered participant in writing by e-mail to the secretariat of The Czech Ceramic Society.
Refund Policy:
If the registered participant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer their participation to another person, the following refund arrangements apply:
- 60 days before the conference date: 75% refund
- Within 60 to 30 days of the conference date: 50% refund
- Within 30 days of the conference date: 25% refund
